How does the Candela GentleMax laser work?

The GentleMAX sends a high-energy pulse that gives off a gentle beam of light directly to the hair follicle destroying the actual follicle without affecting the surrounding skin. The Dynamic Cooling Device cools the surface of the skin immediately prior to the pulse of the laser, allowing patients to remain comfortable during treatments. Superficial damaged blood vessels and broken capillaries are treated similarly with a quick switch of settings.
